Resume
Rielle Ramos is a Toronto-based independent film and advertising producer with a deep passion for storytelling and a special love for prop styling.
Her career began in the Philippines at Seabiscuit Films, where she skillfully managed productions for a diverse array of advertisements, digital content, and food and lifestyle programs.
In 2021, Rielle broadened her scope in independent filmmaking, taking on the role of Production Coordinator for two feature films and a documentary: So Much Tenderness (Rayon Verde) and Something You Said Last Night (Not In Florida Films), both of which premiered at TIFF ’22.
In 2022, she produced her debut short film, The Art & Craft of Smile, directed by Marta Borowski. The following year, she produced Priscilla Galvez’s A Fermenting Woman, which premiered at the Regard Film Festival ’24. Her latest project, After Sunday, premiered at TIFF ‘24.
Rielle also has a background in theatre, serving as Company Manager for DLSU’s Harlequin Theatre Guild, where she developed a lasting appreciation for the power of the performing arts.
As an artist, Rielle continues to explore her identity as a Filipino immigrant on stolen land, delving into the complexities of cultural belonging, displacement, and the interplay between heritage and new realities.
